During our 10 week mind and movement course, you will gain a better understanding of the body and mind; you will learn how the body, mind and soul are all connected to each other, creating an alignment. To achieve that alignment, we focus on the connection between body and mind during all our exercises. In addition you will learn how to use various forms of focused meditation. This course is with a 50-hour certificate included!

Movement Practitioner Program: practicing yoga to connect with yourself

As a teacher…

…we need to be aware of the role model we are for our participants. It is important that in order to practice what we preach, we need to be aware of our inner world and the connection we have with our self and with our body. To explore your connection with yourself and your body, ask yourself:

What do you think about your body?

Do you love your body as it is now?

And what do you think about yoga and stretching your body?

Do you listen to the signals your body gives you: like when you’re tired, hungry, etc?

You probably have the answers now. But, what about your mind? Do you have any idea what’s going on inside? Do you know that you determine from within what your life looks like? Life is not something that “just happens” to us. It unfolds as a result of your inner self. So, be honest with yourself, are you 100% satisfied with your life now?

You are the example in everything you do!

Practically, you don’t have to ‘do’ much to teach someone else. Above all, you just have to be! In this case it is being yourself and making yourself heard. Often, we get lost in the stories and beliefs that we have unconsciously stored in us. As a result, we no longer know how to be who we really are, which we often don’t realise at all.

During these 10 weeks, you will learn how to observe yourself so that you become aware of your own body and mind. We do this by releasing as much of those unconscious stories as possible through movement and meditation. This way you will know that you are not your thoughts and emotions. You learn to listen to both body and mind so you can decide what is best for you. 

You also learn how the body and mind are connected. It is common that we experience a disconnection between body and mind. We will teach you how to reconnect them in a soft, pleasant and loving way. After the training you know that you do not have to train very hard to be satisfied with yourself and feel good about yourself. You will hear the body talking and you will stop listening to the voices of the mind. 

You can bring your own practice and integrate our method or you can copy our exercises 1 on 1 for your own practice.

What does the 10 week course look like?

There will come no change without an awareness of what we want to change. We believe that you must first be inspired for change, otherwise you will not know how it can be done differently. In this lesson, you will shape how you see inner work and movement and which areas you want to focus on. The lesson subjects that we are focusing on including:

  • Meditation
  • Walking meditation
  • Moving “on music”
  • Food
  • Relationships
  • Mindful Movements
  • Sleep Patterns
  • Being

Are you friends with your body and mind?And are you listening to the mind or to your body? In this lesson, we will show you how our self-image can influence movement in our daily life. We will look at our limiting beliefs behaviour and show you how we use movement to start moving in possibilities again. We also make the bridge to everyday life during every lesson. An exercise lesson has more influence than you think and if you can support this as a teacher, it has life-changing effects.

We do almost everything we do out of habit. During this lesson we will look at these habits and we teach you how we can release them. We do this by using our self-designed technique for movement and meditation, inspired by the Shaolin Temple in Guttenberg, Germany. We will also discover your own intrinsic motivation for teaching while discovering your own unique talents and skills!

In this lesson, we are going to shape our new habits. We do this by teaching you how to live in the now. It is how you can ensure that you can keep moving towards your happy outcome, one step at a time. Here, we use the power of breathing to make sure that your healthy habits fit into your current life. In addition, we are going to make a first start on designing your own program!

Now we get to the movement part of the training. Here are a few examples of what we use in our practices:

We believe that in order to be truly present in the moment we have to move out of our head and into our body. In this lesson, we teach you how to use movement to reconnect with the body. This is not just about the correct alignment, but also about moving with full attention.

Through inner work and movement, you will learn how to live fully in the now. In the previous lesson you learned about the power of slow movement on our body, our mind and our lifestyle. The great thing about slowing down is that you can also learn (how) to recognize your old patterns and beliefs. This way, you can easily embrace and release them . In this lesson you will learn how to recognize those old patterns and how you can use inner work and movement to change them. When we can change our old patterns, we can change our responses and live out of free will. Why free will? It is because we often push ourselves without realising it and we can change this by having a better understanding of the patterns.

During this week you will learn that when we stop reacting from our old triggers, we can have a free will, a choice. Having this choice is important to be able to live and move based on new self-chosen patterns. Patterns you choose for yourself in the here and now. This is to live out of respect and love for yourself. We are using the power of breathing, meditation and movement to put together a respectful program for yourself and your participants.

Since most of us never learned to listen to our inner self, we often get disconnected from ourselves. Therefore, we will teach you about the influence of any of our memories on our body and mind. You will learn how to remove them before they turn into more blockages. And just like in the other lessons, we will release during movements, meditations and practices of touch.

During this lesson you will learn about the practices of touch. (what kind of touch? tai massage? trigger points)These are the exercises that we can always use as support in creating connection between body and mind. It is very important to remember that this is not to use as a solution. As we have tension from the memories stored inside ourselves, it makes us easily feel vulnerable. In other words, we can break quite easily under pressure! Some of the important subject we discuss in this lesson are:

  • The importance of sleep to reset our body and mind
  • Nonverbal and verbal communication
  • Touch
  • The use of music

I am quite new to practicing yoga/meditation/mindfulness/Qi Gong/another form of (inner) movement/body work. Is the Inner Work and Movement Teacher Training also for me?

Yes! Whether you’re new to practitioning or have practiced for a long time, the Teacher Training is for you if you want to learn how to use any practice as a way to become more conscious about yourself, your thoughts, patterns and habits. It doesn’t matter if you already have a practice. What matters is you want to really do your innerwork and you are open for a mirror. When you don’t want to move forward, this teacher training is NOT for you.

I have experience practicing yoga/meditation/mindfulness/Qi Gong/another form of (inner) movement/body work, but I don’t practice that often.

That’s alright! Part of this Teacher Training is about finding out what works for you as a practitioner. How often would you like to practice? How long would you like to practice? And also very important: how can I integrate the practice into my life, so it isn’t just another thing ‘added’ to the to-do-list.

Do I need to be a teacher already?

We believe in unlimited possibilities to make things happen, it’s not neccesary you already see and believe this. This is something we will learn you during the Teacher Training. When you want to observe and reflect yourself, this is something for you.

I am practicing and teaching already for a long time, how does this course benefit me?

After years of teaching we discovered that being conscious and aware of our old habits and patterns is much more challenging than we think.  A lot of times we think we are already so advanced and we are already there. This is really the moment you should join, because the ego becomes too big. Also, when you feel that there are still some things you have to work on, this training is really for you.

Will I learn how to motivate my clients?

Indirecty, yes. We designed a much better way. We believe motivation is something coming from within: when you do what you love and you cleared and released most of your beliefs, motivation is already there.

There are a lot of shorter programms out there?

We know, but we believe that inner work and movement is a constant process of growth, which you cannot fix with a quick fix. You build up your foundation the last … how many years? To first break it down again, ask yourself new questions and live a life with whole new habbits and stories.

Can I pay in installments?
